Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Preston, Melbourne
Breathe pure oxygen in a pressurised chamber, in a calm private space, looked after from the moment you arrive.
Your first step is a free 15 minute consultation, so we can confirm it's right for you.
The current air we breathe at sea level contains 21% oxygen, while using HBOT you will breathe pure oxygen.
Comfortable, not clinical
You'll step into a space that feels more like a private retreat than a clinic.
We welcome you in and get you settled into a luxe leather chair; upright, supported and genuinely comfortable
You can choose your experience: tablet entertainment, music, a podcast, a show. You are in your own chamber, so you can use headphones or play audio out loud.
We fit your oxygen mask comfortably, so it feels secure and easy to breathe with.
The chamber begins to pressurise slowly, and we guide you through ear equalising so it stays smooth.
Then you simply rest. Read. Listen. Watch. Or fully switch off.
The chamber returns to normal pressure, we check in, and you step back into your day feeling lighter and more refreshed.
A member of our team is with you for the whole session, and you can talk to them at any point.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy FAQ's.
-
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing 100% oxygen in a pressurised environment. 1.0 ATA is normal air pressure at sea level, what you feel every day. Our chamber operates at up to 2.0 ATA*. Experiencing higher pressure inside the chamber is similar to deep diving under water, but safely and in a controlled environment.
*ATA is a unit that measures pressure. It stands for "atmosphere absolute".
-
The physics behind HBOT compression is Boyle’s Law. As the pressure increases, the volume decreases but the mass remains the same. The use of compressed air began in the 1600's to treat respiratory and digestive illnesses. Fast forward to the 1800's when the first hyperbaric chamber was created.

Start with a free 15 minute consultation. We'll talk through the treatment, answer your questions, and confirm whether it's suitable for you.
Before your first session we'll ask you to complete a health screening and consent form. You'll also do a short introductory run inside the chamber with a team member present, so you know what to expect.
-
A consultation is required to confirm suitability. You'll first have a free 15 minute consultation with a trained team member.
HBOT is not recommended during pregnancy, or for people with lung or ear conditions. Those with claustrophobia or a history of seizures should speak with their doctor first. If you have implants, take regular medication, or have had a recent procedure, speak with your doctor before booking. In some cases, medical clearance may be required.
Our team can pause or stop a session at any point if they think continuing isn't right for you.
-
The session goes for 45 to 90 minutes. The exact duration depends on your protocol, which will be discussed during your consultation. Sessions should be booked in advance.
-
Wear comfortable, loose, and breathable cotton-rich clothing. Avoid synthetic fabrics, as they can create static in the chamber. We'll ask you to leave jewellery, watches and electronics with us.
Food and drink are not allowed during your session. You may bring a book or simply rest.
-
Yes. Settle in and get comfortable, and we'll provide a soft blanket and an eye mask to help you unwind. If you'd prefer to watch something, there's a large screen where you can stream Netflix. It's your time to nap, watch, or just relax.
